New to Birmingham—WOVN Wellness: Creative + Communal Healing for Modern Women.

We recently designed and launched via our Signature Two-Week Intensive a website for WOVN Wellness, a new therapeutic resource led by Jennifer Bartlett and coming soon to Birmingham.

WOVN Wellness will be home to women battling the unique stresses of modern life, such as—

  • Infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum adjustment

  • Anxiety

  • Life-stage transitions

  • Relational challenges

  • Absence of balance and fulfillment

Through WOVN, you’ll have access to licensed therapists offering evidence-based, individualized blends of contemporary therapeutic approaches in pursuit of whole-person health.

Jennifer Bartlett, founding psychotherapist, pursued her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling after having served in Houston, Texas, with Teach for America. There, she witnessed the impact of mental health quality on students’ academic and social outcomes, which ignited her passion to make accessible therapeutic services attuned to individuals’ unique needs. She’s since honed her clinical interests to those of modern women, and takes an integrative approach toward treating every client not as a collection of symptoms, but as a whole person, each deserving gentle encouragement, appropriate challenges, and healthy doses of good humor.

We asked Jennifer a few questions about the upcoming
launch of her business—

  1. Tell us about the purpose of WOVN and its value to your customers.
"WOVN Wellness is designed to support women in navigating the challenges of modern life (motherhood, relationships, pursuit of goals, and everything in between) through individual therapeutic work and communal offerings.”

  1. Which services are you most excited about?
"Individual therapy offerings (in-person beginning July, virtual and walk and talk sessions available now) and the specific issues I work with (anxiety, seeking balance and fulfillment, pregnancy/postpartum). Also, individual and group yoga, workshops, and in-person/online intensives individualized to target client’s specific goals.”

  2. What do you most enjoy about serving your community through your business?
"I am passionate about supporting women and creating a safe space for clients to engage in personal healing. I personally have witnessed the transformative power of therapy and ultimately hope to create a space that can offer both the opportunity for women to engage in individual work and make authentic connections within a supportive female-focused community. I am especially passionate about creating accessible, supportive spaces for women transitioning into motherhood and creating a community for women during the unique times. Personally and professionally I have seen the isolation, loneliness, and unique challenges that can occur during the postpartum period and my hope is to provide an outlet that can normalize the postpartum experience and offer services/community that will support specifically mothers. Additionally, I love working with clients seeking relief from anxiety (this is really where the bulk of my experience lies) and getting to use traditional and contemporary approaches (talk therapy, yoga, walk/talk therapy, etc.). I love getting to see the transformation that can take place and seeing them live a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. Truly feel like it is such a privilege to get to walk alongside people!”

We so enjoyed working with Jennifer and helping her to establish an accessible digital space for her new business destined to positively impact so many in our community. She had this to say about working with us—

“Before working with Sela Vie, I didn’t feel as though I had a comprehensive vision for my practice that had unifying language. I felt like I had a collection of disjointed ideas without a streamlined way to my explain my offerings and expertise. Now, I feel like I can zoom out and use discernment when identifying what information needs to be displayed publicly vs. creating a more individualized, a la carte feel for clients. I also feel as though there is a concise explanation for my offerings and brand that captures what I want to represent and offer. I would strongly recommend Sela Vie for people looking to elevate their online presence and develop a clear vision of their brand. I feel the final product is something that I am proud to share with potential clients and other providers. It feels very professional and put together, while also capturing the relatable/approachable tone I was hoping for. From start to finish, the entire Sela Vie team was a pleasure to work with! Every person I interacted with was extremely responsive and made the process seamless. The biggest value for me was their ability to take my rough draft vision and transform it into an end product that feels fully developed and represents my business accurately. Would recommend without hesitation!”

We feel honored by and grateful for her kind words!
