What’s Inspiring Us This Month — April

Soft florals, eclectic shapes, pops of color, and a few more things.

Welcome to April, the first month of real spring!

We hope the warmer temperatures and sweet smells of budding flowers are lifting your spirits as they are ours. More sunshine, please! Each month we’ll include a few random things each of our team members is loving, just for fun.

*Nothing on this list is sponsored, though we can dream. ;)

Anna Cate

Okay, this feels vulnerable and will show my truest colors, but my husband and I just took a trip for the first time sans baby, and we stayed at a lovely hotel called the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin. The scent of the hotel’s lobby is….magical. Here’s the link to buy the scent so your home can smell like a five star hotel—you can find me pretending I’m still on vacay and covering up the spit up smell in my household.

FREE audiobooks with library card registration via Hoopla—with the weather turning increasingly more pleasant, I’ve been spending more time outside working in the yard and on walks accompanied by a great audiobook!

If you haven’t noticed already, I am quite the skincare + makeup enthusiast. A recent favorite of mine has been this OUAI body cleanser—it’s a wonderful floral scent that is lightweight but stays around all day.

Plus, a few more notable updates since we last talked—

We said not goodbye, but see ya later, to our two dear interns, Sydney and Lauren!
Both have now officially graduated from Samford University and landed their first full-time jobs
(HUGE congratulations). We’re so proud of them, and so eager to see how each of their new chapters unfold!

As you jump into a new spring calendar, whatever that may hold for you, we wish you opportunities to enjoy more outdoor time, get excited about wearing something pastel, and find moments for good rest.

Thanks for being here, friends! Enjoy your April!
